August & September Haul | Beauty

We have officially made the transfer from Summer to Autumn (at least here in the UK we have.) And a seasonal change is as good an excuse as any to re-vamp the old beauty collection! I've been out and bought some new skin products and make up bits which I actually did need. So here's a little haul of the bits and bobs I've collected over the past month. Enjoy!

Clarins Paris Toning Lotion and Cleansing Milk
I bought these two Clarins products recently as I had ran out of my normal cleansing/ toning products. I decided to make a change to my face products and I have heard that the Clarins cleansing milk and toning lotion was really good at keeping skin clear. And so I bought this set as a tester. So far, I am enjoying the products. I love love love the smell and feel of the products, however, I had have a break out on my skin since using them. However, I've been told this is from a change in beauty products.

Lola Skin Active Day Cream
Again, this purchase was a random one as I have never used any Lola products before. However, this moisturiser caught my eye and at the time I really needed one. The cream is quite thick, however, the product really moisturising and that's exactly what I needed.

Benefit Real Sexy Steal
This little set from Benefit was actually a gift. However, I have used each of these products before and love them. The mascara and the eyeliner is amazing, plus this set is travel size, so perfect for popping in my bag for top ups.

Revolution Vivid Baked Highlighter
I've started practicing contouring, and so decided to buy a new highlighter. I wanted one I could use to highlight my cheeks, forehead, and chin to create definition. This one it just perfect as it's very highly pigmented so you only need a little to create the intended look.

Yves Saint Laurent Touche Eclat Radiant Touch Highlighting Pen
For the contouring practice, I wanted to get a concealing highlighter. I've used the Touche Eclat before and loved it, however, it's an expensive product. With that aside, it is an amazing highlighting concealer and lasts ages.

Rimmel London Wonderful Mascara
I also ran out of mascara recently and so I bought the new Wonderful Mascara by Rimmel London. The mascara is really great for creating full lashes, however, I only use it for my top lashes as the brush doesn't accommodate well for the small lashes on the bottom.
